What are the specifications of aluminum welding wire?

There are many materials of welding wire, and Aluminum Mig Wire is just one of them. What are the specifications of the aluminum welding wire? How is aluminum welding wire classified? Let me introduce it to you.
Aluminum welding wire specifications are:
There are Φ0.8mm, Φ0.9mm, Φ1.0mm, Φ1.2mm, Φ1.6mm, Φ2.0mm, Φ2.4mm, Φ3.0mm, Φ3.2mm, Φ4.0mm , Φ5.0 mm and Φ6.0 mm.
Among them, Φ0.8 to 1.6 are wire reels (7 kg) for MIG welding. Φ1.6 to 6.0 is a straight strip (length 1 meter) 10 kg/piece, used for manual welding, that is, TIG welding.
Of course, the size measurement of the aluminum welding wire must be measured with a measuring tool with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, measured in the direction perpendicular to each other in the same cross section, and the measurement parts must not be less than 2 places.
 1. How to classify aluminum welding wire?
a. From the material, it can be divided into two types: pure aluminum welding wire and alloy aluminum welding wire:
Pure aluminum welding wire is almost always made of reel-mounted wire (MIG), and wire diameters of 2.0 and 1.6 mm are more common, usually in a package of 7 kg/reel.
Alloy aluminum welding wire is classified according to the packaging method, which can be divided into coiled wire (MIG) and straight wire (TIG). The coiled wire is usually 7 kg/disc, and the wire diameter is 1.2 mm. Straight wire has specifications of 2.4, 3.2 and 4.0 according to different requirements of customers.
b. There are more types in terms of materials. The more common ones in the market are aluminum-magnesium welding wires (such as 5356, 5183, 5087, etc.) and aluminum-silicon welding wires (such as 4043, 4047, etc.).
2. What is the difference between aluminum welding wire models 5356 and 4043
Aluminum welding wire is a commonly used tool in the welding process of welding machines. The most widely used models of aluminum welding wire are 4043 and 5356.
4043 is an aluminum filler metal containing 5% silicon, which can be used for welding 3003, 5052, 6063 and casting metals 355, 356 and 214.
