Comparative study on the performance of aluminum alloy welding wire and other alloy welding wires

Performance comparison

First, the weldability of aluminum alloy wires is generally better than that of many other alloy wires. The low density and good thermal conductivity of aluminum alloys result in a smaller heat-affected zone during welding, thereby reducing deformation and stress concentration. Technical requirements

In terms of welding technical requirements, aluminum alloy welding wire requires a higher level of welding technology, especially in melting and welding processes. Welders need to be familiar with the properties of aluminum alloys to avoid defects. Although other alloy welding wires, such as steel and stainless steel welding wires, also require certain technical requirements, they are relatively mature in process operation and have relatively complete control methods for welding defects.

Aluminum alloy welding wire shows unique advantages in specific fields due to its lightweight and excellent weldability. Other alloy welding wires also have advantages in strength and corrosion resistance.
